Hallway 4

Last night around 11 p.m. my husband decides that my 100.5 fever should probably be checked out. I call L&D and they said to come in. We get there and they won't even let us in the door. They are afraid that if I am sick (IF I AM SICK) that I could get the babies sick and they don't want that. I am sent back downstairs after standing in the hall for 20 minutes to wait in the E.R. with everyone else. Joyous.

Just before midnight we get checked in but there aren't any beds because the E.R. is just go busy. We go back out to the waiting room and watch The DaVinci Code. Around 2 in the morning they moved me to a bed...a hallway bed. We waited in the hall for half an hour before the doctor came by and told me that she wanted to order a chest x-ray. They also did a swab for the flu which was not fun and made me sneeze.

Here's me sitting in Hallway 4:

At twenty to 3:00 I was done with the X-ray and lied down on my hallway bed. Just before three she came back and told me that it looks like I have the beginning stages of pneumonia but that they were still waiting for the results from the flu swab.

Twenty to four we were told that I do not have the flu but I do have pneumonia. They gave me medicine to take there and a prescription to fill and take at home. Dan stopped to get food so we for home at four, ate and went to bed.

I am feeling restless and am really bummed that I am missing church. MD was even going to join me this morning. So lame.
