For some reason today is International Blog Day. What better way to celebrate this blessed occasion than with a blog! :)
This morning I woke up a lot earlier than normal which is fine by me I just hope I don't need a nap because of it. I let my sleeping pattern get away from me. Waking up early today though gave me the chance to make some appointments. Dan made our WIC appointment for today and I made one to get my eyes checked out (hopefully get new glasses and an RX so I can order new contacts cheaper online) and one with Tasha to get my hair cut and eye brows waxed (they are running rampant like my sleep schedule haha)
All in all I feel productive today. I even called Dr. Wiese's office to confirm my next ob appointment because Dan got confused and I wanted to appease him. I'm such an awesome wife!
I think I may have FINALLY felt the baby move last night. I can't say for certain because I have never felt a baby move but it felt like bubbles popping and I didn't have gas so it wasn't that. Most everyone has said that it feels like bubbles or butterflies so I guess it could be.
Hopefully I have convinced Dan that the baby is old enough to be read to and he will start reading stories to my belly. That way the baby know FOR SURE who his or her daddy is! Silly, I'm sure but it's cute too.
I should probably clean the house up a bit before my appointment....

Nutrition
I would really like some brownies.
It seems like a logical request but the more I think about it the more I complicate it.
D complains that he no longer likes what he sees in the mirror but won't go to the gym and eats massive bowls of ice cream. I hate it. I used to do it myself and I hated when I did it. I've been told countless times by countless people that I need to eat healthy for the baby and that it will make it easier to lose the baby weight. While one the one hand that is true I would really like to make a nice batch of brownies.
Dumb.
Sorry to waste your time with this one...

We keep waiting on the world to change:
I read blogs but then never post on my own. Not that I don't have very rad things going on in my life (I don't) but whenever I sit down to my computer nothing seems to come out.
Saturday or was it Sunday...Saturday I went to Walmart with my mom and Kelli. I got some really great fabric and have made several new aprons from it. I am very excited about it. I made Kelli a cool one that is all buttons for the design. I made myself a Halloween one and a Thanksgiving one. I also have Christmas material that I am so super pumped about. Kelli gets a Thanksgiving and a Christmas one as well but no Halloween one because she did not want one. Once they are finished I will take pictures. One the first one I used to pattern almost to the t. For the other ones I used the basic outline but did my own thing for the most part. Still trying to get it down to a science though.
The dryer buzzes at me. The work of a housewife and a soon-to-be mom is never over, is it? I guess I should be grateful that I am not washing 12 loads of baby clothes just yet.
Some days I wonder if we will ever get this house (condo) looking like a home, other times I can almost see it happening before my eyes. I did some massive cleaning in my office/sewing room. Most of the junk is now in the living room which oddly enough is where is came from when Dan decided to clean the living room. It won't stay out there of course we are trying to make it look nice enough to have guests over. We finally, thanks to my mom, have a lock to put on the storage that we have downstairs. I got a lot of what we don't ever use together for relocation. Mainly boxes, Danny's swords, SCA clothes and accessories.
My pinky finger always hurts when I type. I use it too much or incorrectly.
We find out the sex next week. That will be neat information to have. I must have forgotten to post the pictures we got a while back. I will get on that before next Thursday, I promise. In fact I might do it now before Daniel gets home from work.
